Alva Middle School Celebrates Red Ribbon Week

Students from Alva Middle School participated in several activities during Red Ribbon Week. Monday was "Sports Hero Day". Prizes of footballs were given to 12 students who were the most spirited in their dress. Tuesday was "Backwards Day". Students wore their clothes backwards or inside out to "turn their backs on drugs!" Prizes of yo-yos were given to 12 students. Wednesday was "Red Day". Prizes of kites were given. Thursday was "Camo Day" to hide from drugs and bad influences. Prizes of wooden mind puzzles were handed out. The pumpkins were all drug free decorated by Mrs. Starbuck's class.
